Hi! I’m Cory, a children’s book illustrator.

At least that’s what i claim to be, because according to my daughter, my daily job is a terrible baby kisser. I spent most of my time bombarding her with lots of hugs and kisses to the point where she had enough and got super mad at me. I don’t mind having that as my job though. Even if it makes me struggle because i have to manage my time well—juggling between illustrating and bombarding a kid with kisses is certainly not for amateurs. (Right?) 🙂‍↔️

I’ve been fascinated with children’s world since i was pregnant. I was busy picking up knowledges here and there to understand their world. The more i learn, the more i’m amazed by their nature and when my baby was born, i was mindblown! Babies are brilliant, and story books gave a really great impact on them! Oh how i wish i could write some papers to prove this statement, but i have zero skills when it comes to writing papers. So i decided to be a kidlit illustrator instead, so i can enter the wonderful world of these tiny human and joining them in their great-great adventure.

And i believe i make the right choice, because i’m loving my job as a kidlit illustrator! I particularly love working on funny stories, and i also enjoy doing illustrations for sweet, beautiful, or heartwarming stories. And seeing my works being read by children, watching their eyes shine with wonder and curiosity is the best feeling ever.
